On Friday the 21st of October I went on the Yr 6 Rail Trail bike ride. It was really fun! I took Daniel, Valentino and Jonty up and we cycled from Paeroa to the Victoria battery and back. It was a whopping 23.12 kilometers, which I was proud of. One of my highlights was the waterfall. The tide was so strong that you would be dragged away in seconds if you fell in. There were little islands that you jumped on to get around the river. It was great, because I went down to touch the water, because I was sweating and hot. When I touched the water I felt coldness and I felt refreshed.
I also really liked the deep drops, they were really deep! I could imagine workers going down there. It was cool because I learnt how the miners worked in the 1800’s Mr Singh and I made a movie and will edit it on Wednesday. The bike ride was my highlight of the year!
