Discussion Director

For my group roles I am the discussion director.
It is pretty much the main person and I am super excited about this role.
Check it out below and please leave a comment!
Discussion Director

Your job is to lead the discussion throughout the reporting back meeting.

1. Start the group discussion by asking the summariser to summarise the reading. (Always

address students by name and thank them when they have presented their activity.)

2. Next it is your turn to start the discussion. You need to come up with three questions

to ask your group about the passage that you have read. Your questions must be open

ended questions e.g. you cannot ask a yes or no question. Try to focus on ‘why’ and ‘how’

3. Once the group has completed discussing your question, select another question to

introduce to the group.

4. You can now work your way around the group asking students to present their activity.

You can choose the order in which students present.

Publish your Discussion Director activities using the following format.

CAN THE SUMMARISER START?

pg 60 What happened when Sam was going to land the balloon
pg  50 What's a balloonist’s worst fear?
pg 42 What happened to Jordan?
pg43 What does Sam think about his fingernail's?
