The treaty of Waitangi

On the 6th of February 1840, a treaty was signed all over New Zealand. This was a peace keeper, a agreement to keep peace throughout the land of the long white cloud- Aotearoa, New Zealand. The treaty was meant to stop the English men from buying up Aotearoa and to bring peace between Maori and English.  It was signed at The Bay Of Plenty. The English also translated into Maori so the major Chiefs could read, understand and sign the treaty. It has became famously known as The Waitangi Day Treaty.
Nowadays,  treaty's or regularly called contracts, are still used for business, property and other needs. Some treatys are also written on a computer, for example people can use their fingertips on touchscreen computers to sign the contracts.
