ICE SKATING

On Thursday,the Whetu Team went ice skating. I was in group three and was the last group to do so. That suited me fine and soon I was whizzing across the ice and balancing. I had gone to Pacific Ice Skating before and found it a bit easy,but challenging at the same time. I am proud of the fact that I can do a leap and spin in the air.

The event centre was set up with a inflatable boundary which was there for you to lean on. You had ice skates that clipped on and off ,gloves (some were padded) and a helmet that you wore.

We didn't use real ice but fibreglass.

There were bubbles in the air and I sang in the microphone. It was a very good day!
