THE NEW ZEALAND FLAG

When the call came out for which  flag  we would decide on I picked the old. Of course I was too young to vote but that was my opinion on the flag because…

1. It is a BIG waste of money. Think about all the things that have the New Zealand flag on them that will all need to be changed.

B. I really like the design of the old flag and dislike the new one.

C. The old flag is a symbol of New Zealand, of our history, why change it?

I was very excited when they said it was the old flag. I have to say that I thought it would be the new flag but was very happy when they chose the old.
