Beach Ed Trip

Waves crashed down on the beach. Suddenly, a single fin sliced the water. I stared in horror as a set of  jaws erupted from the sea-foam. I was staring into the eyes of a killer shark...

It was the 7th of Feb 2018 and Ngatea Primary School's Marama was going for a beach trip to Waihi beach. We had loads of fun and learnt about rips, beach safety and rescue. It was really enjoyable  and we all had a great time, almost. 

I really enjoyed going around the watchtower. 

I liked learning about how they used the boats, how they saved people, and how to survive rips. 

 I have to write this in a hospital bed. 

Here is a quick photo someone managed to snap as a shark bit into my right leg. 

 All shark bits are fiction, I swear.
