The people's princess
Diana Spencer was born on the 1st of July 1961. She was the daughter of Earl Spencer, she was declared Lady Diana Spencer in 1975. Diana married Charles the Prince of Wales(heir to Queen Elizabeth the 2nd) on the 29th of July 1981.The Royal wedding reached a global television audience of over 750 million.
Princess Diana became a mother after giving birth to William and Harry,but she was most celebrated for her charity work.From 1989 she was the was the President of the Great Ormond Street Hospital and a dozen more charities.
In 1996 Princess Diana broke up with the Prince of Wales but still lived a good life. But not all story's have a happy ending and this is one of them, on the 31st of August 1997 Princess Diana of Wales was killed in a car crash.
Even after her death Princess Diana will be remembered. Tony Blair said a speech and called Princess Diana The People's Princess. Diana will still be referred to as The Peoples Princess. An exhibition called The People's Princess has opened in Branson,Missouri, this includes a piece of Diana's wedding cake and some of Diana's other objects. We will always remember The Peoples Princess.
